£3.6m in ISF ETF

#73725

Postby wickham » August 11th, 2017, 1:45 pm

Someone has just invested £3,646,763.31 in ISF ETF.

The FTSE100 is down today, was it a good time to buy? Will the market just rebound and then subside on Brexit fears or will the market hold steady for many years?

Today I've also just invested some spare dividends in ISF, but the above purchase wasn't mine! Have I taken too big a risk?

It might not be a single individual. Pension funds, organisations, and even some unit trusts and OEICs use ETFs to quickly balance asset inflows and outflows, hedge assorted positions, and so on.

Or maybe some single person really is feeling gung-ho today.
