Portfolio review 2023

Getting mine in early! More of a mid year review.

4th year in a row of turmoil, 2020-21 pandemic, 2022-3 Ukraine war, and cost of living crisis. Perma-crisis, happy days

Portfolio:-
Vanguard world etf 40%
Vanguard lifestrategy 60 - 25%
City of London IT 20%
CGT, PNL, RICA 5% each

Performance up circa 2% ytd, basically gone sideways for 2 years. Sort of bunny hop market up and down. Good news not lost money this year so far, still getting sipp contributions tax relief, bad news losses in real terms (except home may have kept up possibly).

Ongoing plan to move to some of vanguard investments to higher yield ITs over time. Except vwrl been better performer this year so delayed changes.

Do wonder if US tech bounceback is overdone ie high pe ratios again, might be blowing a bubble (again), question if may get another tech correction.

Been investing 5/6 years, learning from forum and over time, more about time invested than what invested in. Happy Thursday, all.
