A bit of good news today for holders of POLY.

News of possible dividend this year. Shares up over 10% earlier. Long way to go though, and a lot of difficulties to overcome.

That would make a nice change. I won't spend it yet, though.

I bought POLY just after the Russians' Special Operation in Ukraine when the price crashed as some Russian shares were being excluded from trading and directors were resigning. I expected the dividend to be cancelled but gambled that the war might be short and the crash would unwind.
Today I see I'm around 10% in profit, if the dividend can be reinstated at any level and shares re-rate I'll start contemplating an exit.

I bought mine long before Putin's mad exercise started and at one time was making an extremely good profit. Even after today's welcome rise, I'm now losing over 67%, nearly £9,500. What do you think the chances are of seeing that again?

I'm losing a considerably higher sum and percentage on Petrofac who didn't have such a good excuse. It will be interesting to see how the recovery (or otherwise) compares between the two.

Not much light at the end of the tunnel on POLY but maybe the briefing will shed some light on the 60%+ share price rise over the past couple of months.
