Using the government checking service http://www.vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk for my historic vehicle shows 'No results returned' in the MOT box. Can anyone confirm that's what's expected?
The 'Taxed' box correctly shows the tax due date next year. Until yesterday the MOT box correctly showed 'MOT expires 2 July' and I was expecting that today it might update to something like 'No MOT required'. The message 'No results returned' leaves me a bit nervous.
The V5 states the tax class as historic, and I am aware of form V112 'Declaration of exemption from MoT', to be used when taxing such a vehicle. So it's taxed, the MOT has just run out, and there doesn't seem to be a definitive record that a new MOT is not required. Anybody got any experience of this please?
