I don't think I will ever buy an electric car. Not because I have any particular objection, but I don't believe it will be economic in my lifetime. Like many here I may end up using self driving electric taxi in my dotage. Hopefully 20 years+ from now.

I have always driven heap old cars. At the moment, no electric car is ever going to last long enough for me to buy it. Let alone for it to be cheaper.
