UK sticker
Note that as of yesterday, if you want to drive your car abroad and it doesn't have a "UK" identifier on the number plate, you need to have a UK sticker.
If your number plate has GB on it, with or without the EU stars or any national flag, it's OK to keep it.
But if you have a separate GB sticker you have to cover up or remove it.

We're in Spain at the moment, boarding the ferry home tomorrow.
Just have to cross our fingers.

Can't imagine the typical Spanish policeman has his finger on the pulse of the UN's implementation of the UK's request.

Not arguing, but much more and this hopefully useful thread will get moved elsewhere...

Re: UK sticker
I love the way this was announced, plenty of publicity so tat people driving abroad could be prepared and aware of what needes to be done.
My sister is in France and heard about this yesterday when her daughter sent her a link. She says the same as Gersemi, if they only just found out then the Gendarmes will have no clue.
Besides, they have paper, and a Sharpie

You give me and OH too much credit, we knew in advance but couldn't be bothered! We are planning on getting a new bike before we go abroad again, so it didn't seem worth doing anything just for 2 days. We're on the ferry now, so can rest easy.

Re: UK sticker
My GB plate is enamel on alloy, came with my first car in 1968.
Blowed if I'll take it off.
I also have a CD plate but I've never dared to try it.....

The guidance explicitly says it's only GB stickers that need to be removed.

Re: UK sticker
There are plenty of places to pick it up the kind of thing requested:
Here's one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ellis-Graphix-Britain-Brexit-Sticker/dp/B01HK9TON2
I think it's nice of racists to want to identify their vehicles for us (F-OFF WE'RE FULL; being the classic)
- I always need places to clean my keys

Really?? If that didn't sounds so daft I wouldn't believe it.
Mine is a magnetic 'sticker', although I have a sneaky suspicion I left it on the side of the boiler in the garage when we moved house.

Custom ones from Amazon/Ebay. I had one of those roundels for the maserati "Restricted to 185 mph"
