Auto Aid prompt service

Hi Folks,

Clutch on Ford Ka started to make engaging any gears challenging. Booked into my local garage for this morning. Surprise, surprise this morning no resistance in the clutch pedal and couldn't engage any of the gears. I have been with Auto Aid for many years but never had to use them so phoned with a little trepidation. No problem, recovery vehicle arrived within about 30 mins and the Ka in the repair garage within an hour or so of contacting Auto Aid with no charge. Even had a follow up call to make sure the recovery went to my satisfaction.
No complaints there and a lot cheaper than the AA or RAC.

This is good to hear. I switched to them about 6 years ago, covering myself and OH with several vehicles between us, but so far it has been working so well that we've never needed to call them! I always wondered what the actual service would be like.

been with them nearly 2 yrs . £59/yr

called them out once - battery had failed -- they got me going and advised battery was faulty.

if you break down away from home they will take you where YOU want to go .

seems good to me .

I was with them several years ago
A colleague at work offered me a lift home and got TWO punctures
As it covered me and he had nop cover I called them out, prompt and great service
I now use rescuemycar - cheaper
and they were just as good when I needed them

I've called them out twice. Quite happy with the service. Though they have got a LOT more expensive in recent years. They used to be a fraction the price of AA/RAC. Now you if you search for deals, basic AA/RAC cover can even be had for cheaper.
