Had a strange bird appear amongst the flock of starlings visiting our bird table this morning. Looked exactly like a starling but almost all white with some brown/black on it's wings and a yellow/gold beak.
Moved to get my camera - but, of course, that just resulted in the whole lot flying off.
And now I find out that there are such things as white starlings. Who knew?
