Spider season: Are sex-crazed arachnids invading your home for hook ups?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-49730011
You wake up. It's autumn. You're in bed, it's nice. But what's that black thing on your pillow? You focus your eyes. It's a spider. A big one.
The good news: It didn't come crawling through the window.
The bad news: It's been hiding in your house all year, eating bugs, getting fat - and now, he's feeling horny.

I've got to break this news to my better half and daughter. I am constantly being asked to wrestle these spiders. Now I've got to tell them they don't come in from outside to keep warm. They've been here all the time.

I'm moving out

I have to be constantly on the lookout for house spiders. The female side of the family are terrified of 'em. I deal with them but I'd shudder if one was on the bed for eg. They do come in as soon as it gets colder in autumn. No they ain't inside all year.

An interesting fact is that they're preyed upon by the much smaller and spindly spiders the name of whom I've forgotten.

If you want to live and thrive let the spider run alive. :D

We are catching them and making them homeless at the rate of 1 or 2 per day. They haven't paid any rent and this isn't a brothel. Now they are homeless and can sow their oats with any partner they find.

My wife isn't frightened of spiders which is great but they make us both jump when we catch them out of the corner of our eyes.

.

Pholcus?

(Daddy long legs spider, not to be confused with the Harvestman, also often called Daddy long legs, but lives outdoors and has only a single body segment)
