Having a bit of idle time, I've finally cracked Flicker for just one photo. I've tried google image search but without success. I recently moved house and have this little flower which I can't find in any books either. (The name I used as a Flicker user is not my real name!) Can anyone tell me what this flowering plant is - thanks?

Re: Flower ID
Thank you indeed Itsallaguess, I don't know how you do it!! One of those links says it's a rare plant - I've never heard of it and it's certainly very pretty. I see I have two of them. The lady who lived here before me was a real enthusiast and I'm looking forward to what other surprises she left behind.

Re: Flower ID
Yes its a Pasque Flower. The first plant I bought as a child was a Pasque. My interest in plants goes back a long time. I seem to recall the sap is very very irritating/toxic to some people.
