The best thornproof gloves

Having managed to lose one glove somewhere in the garden, I'm ordering a replacement pair of Rostaing Ripeur 2.

First bought at least 12 years ago after they were recommended on a hedge-laying forum, these gloves remain flexible despite sometimes being used as kneeling pads on damp ground, and have never allowed a thorn through not even hawthorn or pyracantha.

I commend them to you.

When tackling particularly vicious plants I use gloves designed for welders. I'm not too sure where I acquired them from but they're like a pair of gauntlets and nothing in the way of thorns, brambles etc. seem to get through.
