New Bushnell Nature Cam... not strictly new as I bought it a while ago - first time out last night to see what has been leaving 'deposits' on the grass.

This morning... 555 (five hundred and fifty five)... 30 minute videos of... nothing. Full 32GB card.
Took an hour or so to upload.
OK, there was a small shrub that might have been moving very slightly. And it was pretty cold. And our heated sunroom was in the shot. But our previous Bushnell never produced more than a dozen, even on a windy night.

Turn down the sensor, try again.

Arrrgh.

Set the sensor to 'Normal' which is a middle setting.
Night time operation only.
Now it works OK, except that no sound. Yes, is in On. Which is a shame.

Anyway, a large fox, probably the author of the deposits.

And a muntjac who apparently likes the apples we left out for the birds. An alarming visitor as they tend to like pretty much everything in the garden, so how is it getting in... Moving the camera around to find out.
Muntjacs have been around for more than 15,000,000 years. We may or may not succeed in banning them from the garden but they will win in the end.
