Blackberries round these parts (Gloucestershire) have a very heavy crop this year, early too. I have been picking them but most have been left untouched.

Heh. My garden is yielding more than I can consume, without any need to go collecting. Been eating them daily for about four weeks (except when I was away). Anticipated from the super-abundant blossom a while back: https://bahumbug.wordpress.com/2017/06/ ... od-things/

A fortnight ago I brewed chutney, and got six full jars from it! Still need to make more space in the freezer for stewed blackberries.
