It's been announced today that another musical stalwart has gone: Leonard Cohen has died, aged 82, a short while after releasing his final album.
He's been a part of my life forever, from my teenage angst years, through to now.
He might be gone, but has left a rich legacy for us all. A shame that the music has finally stopped. RIP Leonard.

He wrote this poignant letter to his long time love Marianne Ihlen when she died on July 29th this year. He obviously knew.
"Well Marianne it's come to this time when we are really so old and our bodies are falling apart and I think I will follow you very soon. Know that I am so close behind you that if you stretch out your hand, I think you can reach mine,"
A great loss.
