I really enjoyed this from BBC channel 4

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b ... er-version

An hour long documentary on cover versions, including lots of video clips I hadn't seen before with some great commentary from a really cute singer songwriter I'd never heard of.

I'd 2nd that, having watched it a few months back.

The 10CC and Tubular Bells ones, listed at the bottom of that page, are also worth watching.

Thanks I will watch those too. I'm a fan of both.

Friday night is music night on BBC4. Many of them have been shown before but none the worse for that. There's Kate Bush, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and Music for Misfits (Indie Pop) on this week.

Did I spy a re-run of a Fleetwood Mac doc the other week? Pretty sure it was BBC. Over time you forget just how messed up that band was, and the tunes are solid gold. Definitely worth a watch.

I saw the Fleetwood Mac one, quite amazing how emotional instability and relationship problems are the driver of much good music (or art in general).

Danny Baker's 70s picks were good last night on BBC4, with multiple pops at Simon Cowell, the X Factor and all that dross. I'm definately a Missfit, R6 Music rocks.
