Whatever you think of these things, you have to admire the sheer amount of home grown expertise that goes into designing and building them.
Fascinating program.
I'm anti war but I did make a good living fabricating and welding aircraft carriers, tanks, and both nuclear and conventional subs.
Subs are terrible things to work in but the expertise etc is fascinating.A full city built into such a small space. The technology is amazing but very secret squirell ,I think the secrets act lasts forever,so say no more.
The technology behind all of them is great The hydrogen from charging batteries is made into their drinking water on a conventional sub.
