We have a neighbour named Stella. She told me about her desirable car which was parked in the street. The first sentence is true.

As Conrad was mentioned above ...what connects one of his novels with Sigouney Weaver?

We’ll never know! Edit: That was replying to your Linda Lovelace.
How about, roughly, “Ma! I’m top of the World”.

A Tennessee 'Kenneth' Williams reference: can I have a point?

Brilliant film, saw it at the cinema. The Long Riders, same director, same composer. Jesse James boys, "our nightriding days are over" "Never should've left Missouri".

White Heat Jimmy Cagney. I had that on VHS for years, watched it 20 times during the early 80's.
Made it, Ma! Top of the world!
(That's what I shout when my Polo gets me on the top of the Pennines.)

Ma having said something similar to Cagney's character, earlier in the film.

Re: Movie Quote Quiz
One of my all-time favourite films, in the 70's it was a school day the next day but I was allowed to watch this because my dad is big fan of the actor. Later on I had the dvd, it was also on Youtube but taken off now.
"You'll muck it up! Don't touch him! We've won! We've won..."
Same actor a 7 years or so later was told this in a scene, by the actor who was in the above film too:
"You sad little man"

Great, albeit sad in many ways, film and your post has inspired me to start reading the Wiki page on the individual concerned.

"I'm a pagan"
"what's a pagan?"
"someone who doesn't believe there is a divine being dispensing justice to mankind"
"I'm a pagan too"
Good poetry too.
