I watched this on BBC2 last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Started quite slowly with the childhood back story but pretty much covered everything from there. Could have done with a few more tunes I guess but still highly informative and watchable. For a man with such talents to sink to such depths and then gain some redemption following the tragic death of his son is a truly amazing story.

Re: Clapton Documentary
Watched about a third of it last night, and saved the rest to enjoy later. OK, so we know he wasn't god, but in some ways it was the feet of clay that showed how great he really was, and is.
The section on Cream (too brief, IMHO) was very fine. I saw them several times, and I never could work out how three guys could produce that much sound. (Jack Bruce was always an underrated talent.) Loved the Aretha Franklin episode too.
