Netflix UK is boring.. isn't it?

Hi, I was in US a few weeks back and I saw their netflix content. Now I feel Netflix is mocking us or any other region by giving only old movies. I want US library in UK.
A friend suggested me there are a few handful of netflix vpns that actually works with netflix and I can see US lib from anywhere. Haven't tried it though. Will give it a try. Anyone who has done this?

I used to watch Netflix using the "Hola" vpn which seemed to work well but then it stopped. I will try those others.

I also used to use it to watch iplayer abroad and that also stopped so perhaps one of those suggested will work for that too.

I do note that are not free though.
