7/10. Quirky black comedy satire on films like "Gone Girl" with quite a few clever bits and a few laughs.
This starts off fairly predictably with a squeaky-clean all-american mom hero-worshipping her glamorous new best friend who exploits her for childcare, before disappearing mysteriously. It then goes off into all sorts of directions, and the tone changes, keeping me entertained as to which way it would go next, before a brilliantly over-the-top finale. Probably "Romancing the stone" is a reasonable comparison film, though that film was played more obviously for laughs.
