Just seen the first episode. BBC1. Anyone else? Based on a true story....spoilers in the link provided, so if you don't want to know what this is about don't open this link, but we have an actress actually playing a member of her own family...anyway, started off very well.

Anyone watching this, thought the second episode lost total impetus as if another director took over. Only another episode to watch though in the series, so no hardship, albeit becoming totally predictable. Shame, had the makings......

I agree. First episode very promising, second episode much less so.

Totally confused...........the best part was the end when we saw the whole family............

So, who was this Wilson Chappie...........Spy, Double Agent, thief, crook, amazing multi-bigamist..4 wives and none knew each other. That's some going. Related to Houdini was he? Escapologist? Mrs.Wilson ends up as a sort of Nun? John Le Caree is complicated enough but this was just too much and yet it appears to be based on a true story.......................Need some explanations here please. Did he continue to work for Mi6 or not? Was he genuinely fired or not, etc, etc..way over my head?

Frustrating ending, but guess we will never know. It said at the close that HMG will not release his papers because they are still sensitive, or words to that effect.

I guess that could mean there are security implications, or just that as family are still alive they won't declassify them...
