Race across the world

Reasonably entertaining. 5 couples start in London and have to reach Singapore. However, no planes allowed. No internet, no cellphones allowed and each given a set amount of money which they have to budget accordingly. BBC iPlayer. Worth a look, like a travel documentary, seeing different Countries and watching the characters evolve at the same time. 4 episodes so far.

Thanks, I'd assumed that Race Across the World was some kind of a Red Nose Day stunt. (I'll be allergic to those put-up jobs until the day I see them sending Katie Price up Kilimanjaro.)

So how do they stop the participants buying a PAYG cellphone wherever they happen to be? Or just bribing the hotel staff/taxi drivers to do the web sleuthing for them?

Er... they have cameras on them the whole time?

This doesn't seem to be against the rules.

I've enjoyed the few episodes I've seen.
