The Mule

Best film of the year. 9/10. You know we are seeing an Icon here and should enjoy him whilst he lasts. Directing, producing and acting. Very few left now. Watched every film of his from the early days like the good the bad and the ugly, through to dirty harry, the gauntlet, where eagles dare to name just a few. Highly recommended.

Completely and utterly disagree - a 4/10 film at best with Clint is so far past his best.

Opens with a '15 years earlier' scene with Clint looking incredibly old, and then moves up to date with him looking exactly the same!

I know it is based on a true story, but the setup was far too rushed - honest guy suddenly offered cash to drive drugs - "of course, no problem" - really?

And then the film bumbles around trying to show that Clint is a man out of his time - no idea about technology, uses politically incorrect language, uses prostitutes (god knows why those scenes were included).

A mess and best ignored.
