Watched The Sisters Brothers (rent from Google Play from £3.49) the other day. It's a Western, released in the UK in April 2019. French director, Jacques Audiard. Stars Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly. Other notable roles include Riz Ahmed who starred in a very good TV series called The Night Of.
Anyhow, best film I've watched all year. Thoroughly gripping, engaging characters, plot twists and some interesting historical nuggets.
My wife felt the same about it and in general she's a harsher critic than I am.
The critics like it too, though not quite as much as I did.

Re: The Sisters Brothers
And it's a great book too, and one of my favourite ever reads.
Not sure how much you'd enjoy it after seeing the film, I did them in the opposite order, but when I read it about three years ago, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
