I just finished watching "Chernobyl". Gripping. Terrifying.
It has been absolutely garlanded with awards, justifiably so. I heartily reccommend it.
I am old enough to remember the news reports clearly and also not being allowed to drink milk because of the risk of contamination. It is not an uplifting story, but my goodness there is some drama. Relearned a few things about nuclear power I had long forgotten. And it is always good to get a reminder that the USSR was a grim, dark, totalitarian nightmare.

Re: Chernobyl mini series.
Best mini series ever made. I personally felt it was amazing. Screen work was good and that music made me claustrophobic when they are clearing out the graphite. Damn.
