Chrissie Hynde
Still has a fantastic voice. Real classy.
And teaming up with Dan Auerbach has produced a proper Pretenders album.

Will never forget hearing her sing "Brass in Pocket " live on some TV prog.
Flat, flat, flat. Came as a great disappointment to me.

Re: Chrissie Hynde
Personally speaking, I would go for the Stalls.
The arena is not raked, hence your view is a bit of a lottery depending upon who is in front of you, and the Gallery is a long way up ...

The gallery is a *really* long way up. And if you've got a fear of heights, quite possibly terrifying as it's really steep too. Yes, stalls are good, though too close to the stage at the sides, sometimes the person to your left/right can block your view a bit.
Never had a box so can't comment on those.
Re: Chrissie Hynde
I saw the Kastoff Kinks a while ago. I think that one of the numbers they played was "Stop your sobbing" .
They mentioned that this was covered by Chrissie Hynde.
The most sarcastic bit though, was they then mentioned that Chrissie Hynde was covered by Ray Davies a few months later !

A bit late to this "thread", but I would echo the Stalls suggestion - anywhere in sections H to M guarantees a decent view without being too sideways on. I have been in a "Loggia" box which was fine, but again you want to be above the Stalls sections H to M. Have also been in the Gallery and, tbh, you feel a bit like you're looking in through the roof from a great distance. I suspect, but don't know, that the Circle would feel a bit distant too...

I remember getting 'great' front row seats in the gallery. Great for Mrs.zico, very scary for me, as it's about 100 feet of sheer drop beyond a low rail. We had to move at half time.

I have found on a couple of occasions that when concerts I had been at were later played on TV/radio it just didn't sound like the same concert.
Found out that they don't use the mix that the live audience hears, but take the feeds and remix it themselves, so one where the vocalist was clear live, could hardly hear them on TV.
