Brilliant songwriter - the soundtrack to my 20/30s - Bat out of Hell - Meatloaf - but someone tell me:
And I would do anything for love
But I won't do that, oh
No, I won't do that

I want you (I want you),
I need you (I need you)
But there ain't no way I'm ever gonna love you

Now don't be sad (don't be sad 'cause)'
Cause two out of three ain't bad

Guy I know had it as a wedding song.

Another legend gone. He didn't always get it right as he felt in the celebrity shade and wanted to be a front man, but most people would have settled for his song writing skills. RIP.

Bat out of Hell was one of those albums that literally every adolescent boy seem to have when I was a teenager. I must have worn the groves out the number of times I played it. Got the chance to see Meat Loaf live at Donnington Monsters of Rock some years later. Poor and got booed off stage. Oh dear...
