Pretty sure it was CK who first recced this, he must have gone to the flicks to see it last year. I'm a bit of a foodie, so when I saw that Amazon Prime were renting it, I thought let's give it a go. I can honestly say it's probably one of the finest films I have seen in a very long time and around a 5ver, cheap at half the price, and I think I am going to buy this film outright. It helps to like good food and particularly French food at that, but you do not have to be in love with food to enjoy it.(well perhaps a little bit) Set in the 18th Century in France with subtitles, do yourself a favour, don't look at any reviews. I rate this a 11/10. Stunning in every way.
