I find the BBC's insistence of putting sporting events on BBC1 and sometimes having regular BBC1 programmes on BBC2, or not on at all, very annoying to say the least. They would be better advised to put them on BBC2 and designate that as it's "Sports Channel". Leave BBC1 to run as normal. Even better use BBC Parliament or BBC news channels, when Parliament is not in session, for example.
