Spotify - 3 months Premium for free

If anyone's not tried Spotify before and would like to give it a try for free, then they're currently running a 3-month Premium package free trial -

https://www.spotify.com/uk/premium/

I pay £99 per year for the Premium package, and I'm happy to pay that to receive the high-quality ad-free offering, and for me it's a very good value way to listen to a huge range of music both in my home and using my portable devices outside too.

Anyone taking up the above offer would need to mark a calendar reminder to cancel the membership within the three-month period, otherwise they'll start to take payments, but so long as you cancel in time then you won't be charged at all -

One of the best features of Spotify for my use-case is Spotify Connect, which allows me to direct music to compatible devices around the home. My cinema-room has a HEOS compatible 5.1 amplifier in it that really benefits from this feature, and I can use my tablet Spotify app to browse the huge library of music and play it on my home-cinema set-up speakets in very high quality - a real game-changer in terms of being able to enjoy listening to stuff.

We also have a portable Ikea Symfonisk speaker for moving around the home or for outside, which is also Spotify Connect compatible, enabling wifi-directed music from a tablet or mobile Spotify app -

The Spotify premium package also allows a good amount of local downloads to portable devices like tablets or mobiles, so you can then enjoy music on the move without having to rely on any internet connection at all, which is a great way to listen to Spotify stuff when out and about.

Cheers,
