Fargo Season 5

I highly recommend Fargo Season 5

For those that don't know it's a dark humour and crime programme set in snowy Minnesota. I don't think you need to see the previous seasons as they generally independent. It has interwoven plot threads and a bit of left field stuff thrown in.

I'd seen season 1 a while back, which was also great and there is a film too. So it was a bit of a shock to find that there were seasons that I'd missed.

S5 sees Ted Lasso's Keely (Juno Temple) with the funny accent and a Sheriff played by Jon Hamm. Things turn out different to initial expectations and you experience a tour de force as this story unfolds and takes you on its journey. It's compelling though and the sort of thing you are likely to binge watch.

It's clever and shocking with some moments of extreme violence. It has a great supporting cast and highly entertaining.

If you consider watching the lot, 1 and 5 are the strongest with 4 typically as the weakest of the lot but remember they are quite independent.

I have tried to avoid giving away any of the plot or plots or use any spoilers. Even the trailer gives a bit too much away in my view. So if you can avoid that too.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Off to rewatch S1

I see it's FX, don't have that - anywhere else?

I had watched the film and season 1 of the series, I had no idea they were still making them.

I've started again at season 2, ok so far.

Scott.

I think they're all excellent
- only really suffering because folk view their differences as weaknesses because they want the same as went before
...but season 3 with Carrie Coon and David Thewlis was a standout for me
every so often I'll drop an "I can help" in to conversation without really remembering why :)
