Any chance of interest rates rising today?

Can't see anything happening - a rise back to 0.50% is as much as he would dare to go as the economy is now firmly hooked on cheap debt

When rates rise it will be so heralded beforehand, so taken as an absolute certainty that when it happens it will be almost a relief; 'finally!'

IMO we are a very very long way off anything like that yet.
