What's in a name

I was sat in traffic behind a Kia Venga. It struck me that it would be possible to pronounce the name as Key - Avenger. Might be some sort of super-hero or fictional road warrior.
The same cannot be said for the Key - AhSoul

I always smile when I see a product, usually food or drink described as Artisanal.

It's probably just me

I'll get me coat...

Drat. I reallsed that I could have said that the Kia Soul doesn't have the same ring to it.
I'll do it now to save someone else the trouble.

I came across the unhappily-named Renault Wind the other day. Unfortunately, it had already passed by the time I noticed it. :?

Way back, Rolls-Royce were going to name their new model "Silver Mist " until someone pointed out that in German " mist " means "dung ".

Of course Susan Boyle wanted a snappy hashtag for her new record and associated shindig to celebrate it. Susanalbumparty and more here https://www.theguardian.com/technology/ ... albumparty

In my line of work, we send out tender enquiries and when the prices are returned we carry out an analysis.
I store these computer files in a folder on the server.

So far I've resisted abbreviating the folder name from 'Tender Analyses'

A little Red Indian boy went up to his dad and asked "Heap big Chief Dad" (for his Dad was indeed the heap big Chief),
"How do us Red Indians get our names?"

The heap big Chief looked down at the little boy fondly, sat him on his knee, and explained "Well son, when your Mum, the number one squaw, gives birth, she looks out from the teepee, and names you after the first thing she sees. That is why your elder brother is Running Buffalo, and you sister Flying Eagle"

"Why do you ask, Two Dogs [expletive deleted]?"

Also way back, but a car with the letters 'MR2' had to be changed in France. 'Emmerdeur' means more or less a little pain in the ass, to put it politely.

Well he could have been named after the back end of a buffalo and ended up being called:

"Smiling PinkMarshmallow".
