I was called by a teacher from my son's school today.
They said that they'd caught my son smoking cigarettes, but when questioned he said that he'd been made to do so by one of the French foreign-exchange students that were currently visiting.
Pierre pressure can be a terrible thing when you're young.....

Things are actually worse than we thought....
The school have now been back in touch and said that it wasn't just tobacco.

I have long believed that a nation that smokes camels can hardly expect to be taken seriously.

Not so. They are piquant when spit roasted: just tether a camel in front of a smoky fire and spit on it.
