It's not quite Dave Allen explaining how to tell the time but I can see how it would work

To be honest, I prefer Dave Allen's gentler style of wit! But I admire Jimmy Carr for his attempts to make people think about what is funny, and why. All the criticism he had in the tabloids were about jokes taken completely out of context. In the shows where he tells the really controversial jokes (on Spotify) he actually discusses them with the audience, and it's quite interesting, but of course, it wouldn't suit the 'shocked/outraged/ gobsmacked/offended audience of the Daily Mail, Express etc.

One of my favourites at the moment is Milton Jones.
