His chat with his niece reminds me of Jimmy Carr:
How on earth do you explain the concept of death to a child? Well, you need a hamster, and a hammer. "There see, he's not gone to heaven. He's all over the f&%#!! place!"

It's not quite Dave Allen explaining how to tell the time but I can see how it would work

To be honest, I prefer Dave Allen's gentler style of wit! But I admire Jimmy Carr for his attempts to make people think about what is funny, and why. All the criticism he had in the tabloids were about jokes taken completely out of context. In the shows where he tells the really controversial jokes (on Spotify) he actually discusses them with the audience, and it's quite interesting, but of course, it wouldn't suit the 'shocked/outraged/ gobsmacked/offended audience of the Daily Mail, Express etc.
One of my favourites at the moment is Milton Jones.
"When I was young, I remember my dad going round every night, turning off all the lights, pulling plugs out, switching off everything.
Kind of explains why he was sacked from Air Traffic Control!"

Only 98.6%? More variations within humans than between humans and bonobos or chimps?
On the same measure, what's the difference between celtic Jock redheads and blonde nordics? Or between white Europeans and Black Africans? Or (probably greatest) between specific tribes from widely differing environments, as opposed to examples of similar-ish tribes or of whole continents?
