Re: Two blokes in a pub...
Another round and 10 minutes of silence followed, in the way only blokes comfortable in each other's presence can do.
Eventually bloke 1 says "What are you thinking about?"
Bloke 2: "My Grandad's last words to me before he died..."
Bloke 1: "What did he say to you then?"
Bloke 2: "Are you still holding the ladder?"

Bloke 2: "My Grandad's last words to me before he died..."

Bloke 2: "Are you still holding the ladder?"

No actually.. His grandad died peacefully in his sleep; unlike his screaming passengers

Possibly my fave stand-up comic of all! (One "l" I think.)
I also like his tale about praying every night for a bike, then eventually realising God doesn't work that way.
So instead, he stole one and prayed for forgiveness.
