Giving a nun a lift

A man gave a nun a lift as her church was on his way. As they were driving along he put his hand on her knee. He left it there for a while and then the nun said, "Heed the scriptures. Luke 14:10."
The next week he gave the nun a lift again. And again as they were driving along he put his hand on her knee but this time a little higher. After a long pause the nun said, "Let the bible guide your actions. Luke 14:10".
The next week he gave the nun a lift again and this time he put his hand high up on her thigh. This time there was a very long pause and then finally the nun said "Please I implore you, for you own good, follow the advice found in the scriptures. Read Luke 14:10"
He was now rather worried so when he went home he found a bible and looked up Luke14:10. There he read..
