Trader Meet Ups.

I attend and enjoy a small monthly get together with people interested in the stock and forex markets in Hampshire.
I am wondering do others attend such social gathering to swap stories, thoughts on shares, the next (possible big thing) etc?

Yes we have a small one in East Devon good to get together for a chat now and then.

See Lemon Socials under the heading Lemon Lounge.
We had the last get together on Friday 5th July in London.
If you want to try and organise one locally, why not have a go?

Well dspp we usually meet at lunch times around once a month a cafe/pub, outside in the summer.
Afternoons are preferred but we don't rule out evenings.

They do Exeter but infrequently and few of them. And were a bit scatty about time & place. I am game for a laugh but need warning to fit in my diary.

I am in Exeter a lot and would show up for something like this. I might recommend the City Gate pub at Irongate in Exeter. It's classy, has a great beer garden, and good food with an open kitchen. It's 5 minutes walk from Central station, maybe 15 minutes from St. David's station and the bus station, and has a couple of car parks close by. It's a Young's pub and hotel.
I've held a few meetings there, with no complaints.
