Re: Free Wifi!
A few times I have checked for free WiFi when near a superstore and then looked for a Privacy Policy.
They had one, but it could be paraphrased as “there isn’t any. We will share your data with all and sundry”.
Fair enough. It’s their business model I suppose, but a bit off putting.

It doesn't sound quite as bad as the "Herod clause".

Re: Free Wifi!
“the recipient agreed to assign their first born child to us for the duration of eternity”. Six people signed up.
maybe all six were age 90+ and had no (living) offspring???

Simple answer, lie.
Or go somewhere that doesn't need that, like Tesco or many smaller coffee shops and restaurants.
Re: Free Wifi!
Doesn't everybody have a fake profile or two they use for exactly this kind of purpose, dob 1st Jan of some memorable year, gender false, etc etc? (Two because you need one which has an email address that's thrown away, e.g. a@somewellknowncompanywhichhasonlytwoletters.com, and one which you will occasionally check)
If you don't then perhaps you should...

So that's you, is it? Blimey, have you seen how much Cambridge Analytica knows about you?
