Another hour I shall never get back... chatting with a bot, trying to get past the bot, corresponding with someone based heaven knows where who wanted me to 'identify myself' even though I already logged on.
And all to find out what to do about a voucher that was declined by a retailer.
What a waste of time.

Re: Bleedin bot
To identify myself I had to re-register for online banking, it turned out I had overstepped the number of wrong passwords under the impression that I was logging onto the voucher site.
After that and two more chats, they are going to email me a replacement voucher. Worth the botheration for £50?
I suppose so.

Re: Bleedin bot
This was a long time ago, and may not be so easy now. But back then some retailer screwed me over with a coupon or voucher of some sort. So I took out their store credit card, charged up to the amount of my loss, and then defaulted on it.
Never heard anything more about it. I guess they felt guilty.
