I expect many muslims do exchange christmas presents (more fool them).
But Christian culture? Yeah, by blatant appropriation. Date of a roman festival. Presents loosely appropriated from the story of a St Nicholas's trade in young teenage girls. And a romantic story that originally arose in a peace process, bringing a terrorist movement into mainstream society while softening it and turning its core story into something much more benign.
Just get over it. Christmas has been all about commercialism since the fourth century.
