What's Meghan Markle's favourite colour, and how many dogs has she got, and what does she look like with her top off (the French magazines will soon settle that question), and what's her favourite crash-dieting technique, and whose kids will be the bridesmaids?

We turned off the 10 o'clock news at three minutes past, as it became evident that there would be nothing coming up on the schedule apart from The Engagement, followed by some cricket match or other. Yawn.

I am a subscriber to the Telegraph, primarily for the business news.
They always have a daily sycophantic grovel to the Royal Family.
I am just relieved the Harry's new squeeze is as easy on the eye as the Duchess of Cambridge.
