That reminds me of a saturday afternoon around 1971. I was working at Birmingham Post Office tower testing some of the microwave channels. The boss said "check that channel, it's not in use". So I unplugged it and started testing, and unwittingly cut off the broadcast of the horse racing for 10 minutes. Oops!
