I'm assuming that's the "no ropes" bridge. We've made one with the explorer scouts a few times, it's entertaining. First time we made it with soggy round fence posts, and it stretched across the hall in a great wobbly arc, impressive, and also made me quite nervous. Next time we had 50mm square wood, worked a treat, even had a few people climb over it. It's very elegant isn't it?

Reminded me of the 'Mathematical Bridge' supposedly - but erroneously - designed by Newton* visible from Silver Street, Cambridge (almost opposite the Anchor pub) that joins one bit of Queens to another.

* - although it is just the type of thing Newton could have done since he was a past master at analysing forces
