Not a conduit joint, Although I see the resemblance to a hex nipple (a plumbing joint).

Correct answer Scott.

I would have also accepted "cassette removal tool" or "freewheel removal tool".

They are usually single-ended but I have managed to find another double-ended one, http://index.weldtite.co.uk/products/de ... ge-remover .

To sum up,

1. Puncture repair kit for tubeless tyres.
2. Bottom bracket and cassette removal tool.
3. Enlarger timer.
4. Ceramic hob element.
5. Slave clock movement.
6. Lead bossing stick.
7. Veneer hammer.
8. Cask tap.
9. Bicycle chain wear gauge.
10. Tap reseating tool.

I hope you enjoyed this puzzle. It might take me a while to find another 10 items so why not have a look to see what you have lying around (even if it is just one mystery object)?

If I tried to do that with stuff around me, the answers would look like;
1. beer can
2. laptop
3. beer can
4. iPhone
5. beer can
6. bottle opener
7. pen
8. beer can.
9. Scandinavian woman in silk lingerie
10. beer can
(OK, one of them is a lie)

Always enjoy these wee quizzes, thanks jfgw :)

Just to clarify, I do know my elbow from my knee :). I think this is a cassette tool but they can be very similar to a bottom bracket tool (and I don't know if this double-ended one does both). Some Campagnolo bottom brackets have the same size splines as their cassettes so require the same tool, https://www.wiggle.co.uk/campagnolo-cas ... cket-tool/ .

I'm embarrassed that I didn't get that as I have one in my toolbox, but don't think it is a double ended one. That's my excuse anyway :)

A reasonable excuse, I would say, given that double-ended ones are uncommon. I have had it many years and I don't even know what it fits (almost certainly not my present bike :) ).

Would that be the bottle opener? If you are drinking canned beer that would not be needed

I thought it was the silk lingerie.

Not at all. Our replies are equally subtle.

Next time, could we have a photo of the inside of your shed? It must be wonderful.

I think I need to tidy it up first before posting photos :)

Or you could leave it untidied and hold a 'spot the most interesting hidden item' competition... ;-)
