Sounds awkward.

Would Handel > Brook St > Bond St Tube work?

Only if you took the N27 night bus beforehand.

That's a tad early to call Mornington Cresent. In fact so early, the image was taken a week before the OP, I believe you should be penalised for not having arranged a social whilst you were in town. Return to Go.

A social? Splendid idea!
To get us back on track, a simple Brock-Moorcock reverse to;
LADBROKE GROVE

I'm invoking a Friday Roister , and elect to restart play at Brent Cross.

re A social - You need to keep an eye on this page: http://www.mornington-crescent-rules.xt ... escent.htm

The Wikipedia entry about MC suggests there are no rules! The website linked above contradicts this with some authority I think.

Although I have read around the subject, I remain a novice so I will just go for the simple play: Tottenham Court Road

There's a full set of rules here;

although some of the links don't seem to work for me.

As isihac admits on page 9, this was "Taken from ‘The Little Book of Mornington Crescent’", my hardback copy of which I currently have in front of me. Sadly out of print now but, Amazon to the rescue, still available - a snip at....

1 New from £55.71

PS: the 'Look Inside...' works, if you'd like to browse...

Johnson, Dr - (1709-1784) renowened amateur player of the game, who is supposed to have declared: 'When a man is tired of Mornington Crescent, he'll change at Euston and get off at Camden Town.'

Ah, I'd forgotten about the 'Armitage Shanks Charity Bowl'
It was the "Autoglass Trophy" of Mornington Crescent

For full rules, you are referred to the Encyclopaedia Morningtonia. Sadly, also 'out of print' now, but archived here...

A brief look there suggests you and others may be farkling, which is somewhat early given we are only on the second page of the Tube map.

I'll therefore North End you, in the politest possible way.
