Glitch?

This is weird. Or has my brain glitched (again?).
From 9th September:
Terminally ill man sets UK wheelchair speed record
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-humber-54094818
Today, 2 October, this story:
Zef Eisenberg: Maximuscle founder dies in speed bid
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-54356616
Yet, this morning, I could swear I originally read the above story on the BBC website - details of location, crash of ex-Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond etc. But with the headline details and photograph from the FIRST story of that man killed while attempting a new land speed record in an electric wheelchair.
Can anyone confirm this? Or did I imagine it all?
