We recently lost one of our cats.
We got another from the cats' home, a beautiful British long haired cat, something like this:

We are just wondering if all of the litter would have been long haired.

Re: Cats
Sit down and take a deep breath. And a cup of tea and a biscuit. When a female cat is on heat, she's anybody's for a couple of days. It's totally normal for the kittens in a litter to have different dads. That might mean as many as four fathers! And multiple body styles.
Our twin tabbies were as ill-assorted a pair as you could ever hope to find. One was tall, slim, long-legged, stylish and athletic, and the other was short, fat and bouncy. My wife always used to say that they were like those two girls in the Liver Birds comedy series.
To our surprise, the smaller sister was the braver one, and the better mouser and ratter. And despite her little legs, she could jump up a seven foot stone wall in a single bound, by hurling herself at the centre of the wall and colliding with it sufficiently hard to gain the momentum for the final bounce that would get her up to the top. While her long-legged sister looked on in amazement, clearly wondering who had rewritten the laws of physics?
