Re: Musk endeavours
The advanced manufacturing credit part of the inflation reduction act looks like it will lead to very substantially larger profits for Tesla albeit with a few provisos that are not yet clear as to their effect:

And/Or video:

If the interpretations are right Tesla is now give away under priced.

If the interpretations are right Tesla Panasonic is now give away under priced*.
...although in many cases what money there is and who gets it is going to depend on the definition of an unconnected business. The surest way to access the cash would be to take a stake in a battery company which sells to the market.

The battery company would have to manufacture in the US and produce cells of greater than 12 Whr storage.
If the unconnected is strongly enforced, Tesla could float off its battery business as a separate company.

Tesla isn't really in a position to sell Panasonic...
... if Tesla did have a battery business and did float it then it would no longer be receiving any benefit from the IRA!

Tesla doesn't have a coherent battery business to sell. It has a motley assortment of companies and technologies which it has acquired andd conspicuously failed to commercialize and spots in the customer directories of a number of companies which do make batteries.
Even if Tesla did have a coherent battery division to sell likely the only realistic purchaser would be Panasonic.
Tesla would be selling this incoherent jumble, to the one possibly interested party, in contravention of the vertical integration ministry, in order to access a benefit which starts to phase out over three years in seven years time, to manufacture a product whose weight strongly indicates the benefits of local production, in what is still a minor EV market in which they are losing market share as other manufacturers actually begin to service the market.
I don't think even Elon is that detached from reality....

10.69.1.1 looks impressive (30 mins):
https://youtu.be/Ihh8yaPjtO0
It will be interesting to see if a much wider release happens as the price rises from $12k to $15k.

Decarbonising the energy grid by 2050 could save billions:

If this is right it adds yet more credence to the belief that Tesla energy may become more valuable than the car business.

Re: Musk endeavours
Two interesting 69.2.2 videos, the first by a driver who is often very critical, but this version she likes (13 mins 1 second):
https://youtu.be/eeBzikrRLec
The second by a long time tester who is also very impressed by 69.2.2 (28 mins 27 seconds):
https://youtu.be/ZQGb-nxq_tc
Both testers are happy with this version and are less edgy in letting it drive than with some earlier versions.
Looking at the relentless slow and steady improvements it looks to me like fsd regulatory approval can be considered by the US authorities.
If this happens it is very likely that Tesla equity price will increase substantially.
This version is now being made available to 160,000 testers in the US and Canada.

Wireless charging for a BEV.
If the numbers cited here are correct this looks to be a route past all the objections to on street chargers (12 mins 58 seconds):
https://youtu.be/s8EF7ZGORS0
The added advantage of seamless vehicle to grid power is another blessing of this technology.

Tesla bot is potentially the largest manufactured product ever developed. It follows from all the ai driving neural net work, but it is required to operate much more slowly. The necessary coordination & balance technology has already been developed by Boston Dynamics.
I expect this bot will be far more capable & far lower cost than most analysts have pencilled into their spread sheets & to be worth to Tesla more than a fully working self drive system.
